But uhh--... "sad moment"? Don't you think that's a little much for a game? Sure it was a favorite to us, maybe even the best to some, but lets remember it "WAS" just a game

Today I took a mini road trip to South VA. In the Walmart in Wytheville, I found 2 funkeys, a Common Ptep and a Very Rare Ptep.

I never did get a VR Ptep, and since it was only $3, I bought it. The common one is still there.

Though this probably means nothing, I find it interesting that the Walmart let them sit on the shelves for, what, 2 years?

It was interesting, because I had found my old MLN notebook and the June 18, 2008 entry says I'd made a new username... Pteprocks. So this would be my 3rd anniversary of joining the officials.

For now, the VR Ptep from Wytheville is still in its box, on "display" in my room.

Well, speaking of them at stores... they're still at those 99 cents stores I talked about a long time ago...

But those 99 cent stores aren't as massive a chain as Walmart is. Why wouldn't they have sent those 2 funkeys to the incinerator by now?

They have to pay the company for those, and destroying them would in turn destroy the profit. They've probably just left it up until someone bought it. I saw 1 starter pack for 6$ at the Wal-Mart clearance isle once. They sold it though.
